"Pillows of Cloud" by Christopher Ryan

On pillows of cloud

I court her in dreams

She moves through a crowd

Of lofty white wings

The fairer light bends

overturing her eyes

Aglow with a beige

Her patina, the skies

Wild frontiers

Of a love untamed

Where angels on horseback

Gallop in vain

Wind castle no longer

So desperate a dream

Destiny's fortune

Has found me a queen.

Dark times come,
yes,
let them,
fill them with pillows
and
love.
You close your eyes
with
a kiss.
It is not different,
if you lay on pillow clouds
embracing
the poetry
of
the
 knight,
until the sun
shines
again.

I am so appreciative! It is good to be coming back to journaling here. I love to go to a fairy world when the real one is so tough. Blessings and such thanks!
