Oh, I have to see this....she always puts on a great show! And dearest one.....thank you for such kind words. I wish I could just take on less, but the system keeps giving your more and we are all drowning. My colleagues are better at keeping up however, and what saddens me is to see how hard it is for me to follow what they are doing. After all the schooling and training, I am still Anita, a dreamer, a potential artist, and a hard worker and great with kids. But a teacher in today's system and society? No. It comes to be that in our district, all the schools scored well in math except ours. FOURTH GRADE. That's where I am. And no one has said it yet, but I would venture to say that it is my kids who brought down those scores. Math is not my thing, it never was, but whoever believed in me enough to thrust me into being an elementary teacher where ALL things are taught made a big mistake. I am a language teacher, and that is it. All I can do is try to be strong against the winds of change, stress, the constant demands put on teachers and the reality that my gifts are elsewhere and not necessarily in the area of administration and logistics. Whew....was that a downer or what? But I do see faeries, love, light and hope, and thanks to people like you, I am able to admit that even though hard work and achievement is important, rest and seeking and practicing a peaceful attitude is the base for living a life worth emulating.

THANK YOU DEAR FRIEND......Anita

Amy, this is my first visit to your magical, fantastical blog and I just love it! I have Zuzu from Cottage in the Woods to thank. I follow her blog and have found such other wonderful blogs to follow. I may be in the half a century mark but I still love faerytales and faeries. I'm now a follower of your blog too.
Your magical words and art is breath-taking, thank you for sharing.

I had so much fun at last year's Halloween Blog party that I'm hoping and have finger's crossed that my schedule permits it this year. Either way, I'll stop by for a visit on party day.
