Lace and tea, tea and lace...

"Tea is drunk to forget the din of the world."~ Tien Yiheng

"O' peppermint tea- two delights per sip... as steamy hot as passion cool as a wintry lake dip."

~ Astrid Alauda

"Each cup of tea represents an imaginary voyage."~ Catherine Douzel

"The mere chink of cups and saucers tunes the mind to happy repose." ~George Gissing
I love Queen Anne's Lace... the architecture of this flower puts me at ease and in awe all at once. Morning light... dried peppermint from the yard... and a cuppa... ahhh....
"Enjoy the day," it says to me. Blessings, Amy

Oh, I thought I'd heard all the tea quotes worth hearing but there were a few here I hadn't come across before. Another lovely post!

Queen Ann's Lace is such a lovely flower. I like to let it grow around the garden - of course, it won't grow in the flower beds, but it will seed itself here and there and delight me with it's blooms...
Have a wonderful day!

Oh Amy dearest, you always win my heart, but this simple, short and sweet post says volumes to my heart. I must have my tea every night, even in the summer. We will have the air on so I can tolerate it; but the atmosphere, the spirit and the fun of the chinking of the cups, the soothing embrace and the flavors of a good tea. Oh and we shall meet in Stillwater one day....you just say the word and I AM THERE!!!!!

Lovely images in blue.....

Lovely photos, and lovely sayings. I do think Queen Anne's Lace is beautiful too (especially in your mason jar).
Your tea cups and saucer are very pretty!
Hugs,
Terri

**Sigh!** Such a pretty respite from the heat that we're experiencing here today, Amy! Queen Ann's lace has always been one of my favorite wildflowers along with the blue cornflowers that show their pretty blue faces by the roadside in the morning sun. Blessings & Hugs, Terri xoxo

You know, I'd never thought of tea as a voyage (escape yes but voyage no) but of course it is! Exotic...

like Queen Anne's Lace, which never fails to stop me in my tracks in wonder-how does it know to grow that way?

Love the peppermint tea quote :)

Have a relaxing happy journey of a weekend!

Renate, isn't it strange how it likes the grasses not the tilled dirt? Lovely flower, I agree. Blessings friend.

Ohhhhh aren't they wonderful those blues!? When you get close, the blooms are spaced out far apart and so unique. To go out to my parent's acres they dot the country roads. Thanks dear one for the thoughts. Blessings.
