"Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action." ~Mother Teresa

I celebrate my Father, Ross Sperry, with this post for he is our Peter Pan, our Pied Piper leading us only to fun and sweet times. He carved all of these little faery houses for me (and so many more) and is the builder of glorious tree houses for my children out on my parents' acres of serenity and the Faery King of Fort Faldet! I celebrate the home you and Mom gave me and the childhood of dreams come true!

"A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body."~ Benjamin Franklin

These little homes are filled with love and wonder - and so beautifully made.
I was walking in the forest today - thinking that surely there must be fairies nearby!
Wishing you a lovely weekend,

Oh dear one...I have been so occupied with preparing for a yard sale that I wasn't able to visit anyone this weekend! Your post speaks to my heart, for I love home and hearth. A house can be beautiful, but when our personalities reside in the structure and we begin to animate the place, the house becomes that home, for gnome or human, and all who enter are glad...wherever you go, I know that it is a home. Enjoy these lovely but quickly becoming HOT days of a magical season. Bisous, Anita

Oh, so this explains why you can create such amazing faerie enchantment. How blessed to have had a father who was your Peter Pan. These faerie houses are so gorgeous. I love faerie houses, and I long to visit Mohegan Island off the coast of Maine, where so many faerie homes have been created.

I can only imagine the tree houses that he has built. Amy thank you so much for your e-mail. I am so glad that I have met you. Your blog is such an inspiration, always filled with new magical places for us to meet in our imaginations.
