"No one knows enough to be a pessimist." ~Wayne Dyer

"I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing." ~ Agatha Christie

Oh boy, ain't that the truth! What a gift indeed, to be alive and well and to TELL about it! Thank you dearest for your visit...I hope you had your fill of French bliss for the day! My thesis defense? I was a week too early!!!! More later, Anita

Sometimes you just need the simple reminders. Blogland is great for that, as well. I love to pull out a book from the shelves and just fall away from it all. Faerytales, More's Utopia with its subtle interests and almost humorous ways, 17th c. poetry and The Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. Just seems to be that the written word, the simplest things, smiles, tea, chocolate from a friend, a cloud, soft and kind are what I need when the days are heavy with life. Love to you all. Blessings.

I agree with Agathia,
The snow is still here and Tomorrow the dog and I are making a crazy snowman, while we can..
I have been getting sick of looking at it.
