"One sees clearly with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes." ~Antoine de Saint Exupery

When you are seen through the eyes of another and that person is grateful to know of you it is as though they are drawing you with their heart and sprinkling the picture of you with light and sparkles. It amazes me to see something, however limited my perspective must be, about me through the eyes of others. After sending a thank-you package and some giveaways this week, I realized something about all those I have shared gifts with and received gifts from. I have realized that the world is as abundant as you see it. If you give of yourself, not just the gifts, but the gift of a kind comment on someone's blog, it fills the Universe up with a sort of magic, an affirmation, of sorts. I have met such beautiful souls in this short experience with Such a Wondrous Place This Faerytale Space and have been bestowed awards and gifts, giveaways and smiles (my favorite) and I am floating in faerydust and bliss. I am grateful for these "smiles" in all shapes and sizes in which they came. When luck comes my way, I send it back out with a kiss and a wish to those who have gifted me and to those who I have only just met. How we have progressed to be able to create a magical portal in which those we have never met and probably never will, can give the gift of beautiful correspondance and surprises to those we meet from all over the world. When I see this blogland, I marvel. I know that it is meant for us to create connections built on beauty, sharing, trust, kindness and creativity. Sending something splendid through the mail to someone you will never meet raises our humanity, if I may be so bold as to say so.

Generosity with nothing expected in return is seeing the starlight in a flower.

It is a true seeing and I have such starlight in blogland and twirl in the sparkle of it all.

I am posting three photos from Joanna Rowan Mullane http://littlefaerietales.blogspot.com/2009/08/sweet-special-gift.html that I chose to represent the light that I have received from so many blessed souls and the light that I have sent to them, as well. They are two photos of what I sent her in a package. I sent the thank-you package to express my gratitude for the vintage journal she sent me in her giveaway. I also posted an award label she created for me and said the sweetest things about why I was the first to receive this award. Because of the post she wrote about me and the photos she showed blogland, sweet comments were written from friends who know of me from my blog visits and well, herein lies the starlight and love; I was moved. When you see on other blogs a post about you and the kind comments those who know you leave, it is like opening your door and finding your favorite flowers laying in wait for you to find and hug and cherish. Thank-you all, who in the lasts eight months who have left me "starlight and flowers" for me in this way. It brings tears. I posted so many angles of the "star" in the sparkle pink dish to represent how I have had so many blessings sent to me through comments, gifts, giveaways, and friendship in blogland and how grateful I am that I am meeting so many people "who see clearly with the heart" and share their light.
Blessings, wishes, light and love to you all,
Amy Sperry Faldet

Dearest Amy, what a wonderful quote from one of my favorite French writers...his Little Prince speaks volumes of silence, that which is essential! Your colors of pink and green again make me happy, and I will always cherish the little give aways you sent me; they are sweet sprinkles of your kindnesses to me. Anita

Oh Amy dearest, you are too kind! I am glad you could get a chuckle out of M.Balzac and his predicament! Hey, given that you are a poet, would you consider entering a few stanzas to put this play to an end? Did you see the details? Please consider it; you are a marvelous writer with spirit!!! Blessings, Anita

Hi Amy!!
Wow.. what a lovely blog and so soft and sureal..!
You know, I have never been read any fairytales..as a child coming from a very large family, sitting and reading did not come first.. it should have but didn't.
It is now that I am older I am first learning more .. I never saw the movie or read "Alice in Wonderland!"
I know it is hard to believe but I think "Santa" was the only fairtale in my life!
So now is my time to make things happen for me.. and you being here are filling this.
Thank you! hugs, Darlene
